We are proud to have been the only childcare providers in the UK to earn the ‘Gold’ standard accreditation of Investors in People (data as of 2009) and we feel this is testament to the value we put in supporting our team both within their career and in life.
At Fit 'N' Fun Kids we have a low turnover of staff with many of our team having been with us for over ten years! Those who leave for maternity often return on a part time basis, those who choose to further their education often do this whilst working with us, some have taken time out to explore the world and return and some start with us as apprentices and have reached senior management level. Whatever your journey we want to support you. All of the above we feel benefit life-long learning and adds value to the care of our children.

As well as our own annual Fit 'N' Fun Kids Nursery Awards, held at a prestigious Cornish Hotel, we have many regional and national awards to our name including many from the prestigious Nursery World Awards, of which we always take many of our team to celebrate.
Our team has a wide range of skills and experience and, whatever stage they’re at, they’re selected because they share our passion, commitment and positive attitudes to childcare and to delivering a first class customer experience. We also have a support team and a qualified chef, receptionist and administrator, so that our childcare team can focus purely on the children.
Our staff are encouraged and given the opportunity to undertake continuous professional development to maintain the highest standards within our nurseries.
In 2010 we were delighted to be awarded the Investor in People Gold award for the processes we have in place to develop and harness the skills of our people. We also were proud to retain the title, 3 years later in our 2013 review.

We operate a successful apprenticeship scheme, which has received numerous awards in the last five years.
The scheme enables trainee childcare practitioners to work within the nursery environment alongside fully qualified staff to learn the skills needed to achieve their qualifications.
We guarantee all apprentices a job with Fit ‘N’ Fun Kids after they qualify, and are delighted to still have some of our first apprentices working with us in senior positions.
